About SignerWatch

SignerWatch is an independent tracker of bitcoin hardware wallet firmware, security incidents and official prices. We are not affiliated with any wallet maker.

Methodology

• Firmware releases are pulled automatically from each maker's public GitHub releases or changelog files (Trezor, COLDCARD, BitBox, Jade, Passport, Keystone, SeedSigner) and from Ledger's official support release-notes articles. Dates are as published by the vendor.
• A release is security-flagged when its notes mention a vulnerability, CVE, security fix, security improvement, RNG/entropy change or hardening. It's a keyword signal, not a severity rating.
• Incidents are added by hand, and each one links to primary sources.
• Prices are read from each maker's official store page with the date we checked. We don't show prices we couldn't fetch.

Commissions never change firmware data, incident severity, or comparison results. As of today we have not joined any affiliate program; buy links point straight to the maker's own store.

Safety

Update firmware only through your wallet's official app or the maker's verified download. Never enter your recovery phrase on a website or share it with anyone, including us. We will never ask for it.
